My perfect kinda day starts with clear blue skies and cottony white clouds.
The days I chase after.
The days in my memories.
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Today Was a Good Day.”
We set out on a journey,
Blinded by the world around,
We thought it was money,
Worked till sun is down.
We get lifeless lonely tired,
Stirring within lights the passion,
The clock could not unwind,
So we chase every dream station.
Voices so strong telling us not to go,
Do we want to listen, let our dreams go?
Whether we are on which side,
There will always be a mirror showing who we are,
Until the day we feel what’s inside,
We will know the truth is not that far.
A poem I wrote in 2014, the year of passion and dream chasing.
