In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Nostalgia”
Sometimes you can discover gems in unexpected places~ Found Hikki’s 2002 DEEP RIVER album few weeks ago… Imho her works in this album is the pinnacle of her songwriting journey, esp the single Deep River which held so much memories and meaning… that defines who i am…
George Town view
Stunning as it is, I would say this place has the best panaroma view in Penang. Standing at the tallest 18th floor my breath was taken away.
I could see the Gurney Drive stretch, winding away to roads around the island and the far away hills shadowed by clouds.
The haze has been choking our lungs for the past few days,
Everything is shrouded in monochromatic grey,
The grey road, grey car, grey skies, greyish trees,
Neverending, plagued by haze.
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Monochromatic.”
This is a fridge magnet given by my mom.
From Cambodia the intricate carvings of Angkor Wat.
Love the details and sunset hues ❤

In response to The Daily Post’s photo challenge: “From Every Angle.”
My perfect kinda day starts with clear blue skies and cottony white clouds.
The days I chase after.
The days in my memories.
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Today Was a Good Day.”
I like the different patterns, light and dark tiles forming a stark contrast.

Sky view from office carpark where I used to work
Gazing up the sky,
Through my hazy eyes,
Dreams floating up high,
Passing with clouds in time.
Carrying my eternal reverie,
Hope as clear as blue,
Pearly clouds in memory,
Where I place my dreams to.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Symbol.”
A cultural ceremony to mark the day we moved in to our humble abode.
Wishing ancestors’ blessing for a smooth sailing life.
We are looking forward to…
The door to tomorrow.
