Star Nouveau

Moving phases of life,
One has to be born,
Passing through the night,
Birth of a new dawn.

In arms of spiral galaxy,
Laying nurtured to conceive,
Encircling nebulae canopy,
Reaching apex of eve.

Collapse in pull,
Radiating ray of violet,
Brimmed viscera full,
Shine through scarlet.

Morph to full star,
Glowing across space,
Burning near and far,
In this finite state.

This birth of a star poem is inspired by a themed quote from Stellar and Lunar Challenge Roundup #9 (July 16).

One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. (Friedrich Nietzsche)

Stellar and Lunar Challenge is hosted by Sarah once a week every Thursday on her blog tuckedintoacorner.
