I read this book for the second time last week.
Sundays at Tiffany’s is a uniquely romantic story about a young little girl named Jane Margaux who has a successful Broadway producer mother that embodies beauty, perfection and a controlling parent. She barely has time to spend with her daughter except on Sundays where she would bring her for sundae treats and a trip to Tiffany’s for jewelry shopping. Jane also has a friend, an imaginary friend, named Michael who is handsome, nice, kind and wise but nobody can see him except Jane.
As with the nature of every imaginary friend who considered their duty complete after helping young children to go through with their life until they are old enough, Michael has to leave Jane on her 9th birthday. And he promised her soon she will forget about him but little does he know that fast forward 23 years later he is wrong after all.
